AI WOMEN Training in Rome this September: Empowering Youth Workers with AI for Female Migrant Entrepreneurship

The Erasmus+ project AI WOMEN is pleased to announce its upcoming training activity, which will take place in Rome, Italy, in September 2025. The training will gather youth workers, trainers, and educators from across Europe to explore how Artificial Intelligence (AI) can become a powerful tool to support female migrant entrepreneurship.

About the Training

Over the course of several days, participants will engage in a rich program combining practical workshops, peer learning, and interactive sessions. The training is designed to strengthen the competences of youth workers in:

  • Understanding the opportunities and challenges of AI in educational and entrepreneurial contexts.
  • Exploring ethical and inclusive uses of AI, with a focus on the specific needs of migrant women entrepreneurs.
  • Co-designing innovative methodologies that empower young women to transform ideas into sustainable business projects with the support of AI tools.

Why this Matters

Women with a migrant background often face additional barriers in entering the labour market and in creating entrepreneurial pathways. At the same time, AI is reshaping economies and societies at unprecedented speed. By bridging these two dimensions, AI WOMEN aims to provide inclusive, future-oriented opportunities that enhance both digital and entrepreneurial skills.

European Dimension

The training will also serve as a space for exchange of best practices among youth workers from different European countries, fostering collaboration and mutual learning. Participants will leave the training with new competences, ready-to-use tools, and a strengthened European network committed to promoting gender equality, social inclusion, and innovation.

Next Steps

The insights and methodologies developed during the Rome training will contribute to the creation of the AI WOMEN Toolkit, an open educational resource designed for youth workers and organizations across Europe.

Stay tuned for more updates, and follow our journey as we work together to make AI an ally for female empowerment and migrant entrepreneurship.
